The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) is an open coeducational expressions studio in Winston-Salem, North Carolina that awards secondary school, undergrad and graduate degrees. Established in 1963 as the North Carolina School of the Arts by then-Governor Terry Sanford, it was the main open expressions studio in the United States. The law was marked into law by Governor Mike Easley and produced results in August 2008.he school's grounds comprises of 77 sections of land (310,000 m2) in Winston-Salem, close Old Salem. There are eight living arrangement lobbies – six for undergrads, two for secondary school
